"Beautiful hotel, real character and an amazing location"

"We had a lovely stay and would happily return. The room was comfortable, clean, and mostly very quiet, though there was some early morning noise from tractors passing through the high street. It was made up daily, which we appreciated, though it could get a bit chilly in the evening due to single-pane windows (the bathroom was always warm and cosy). Check-in was easy via the tea rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful, offering great local advice. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and they catered really well for my husband’s gluten-free needs. Free parking was a great bonus. Overall, a welcoming and relaxing place to stay, highly recommended. "

"I last stayed here in 2016 and sadly it has since got a bit tired. Public areas, stair wells etc could do with some TLC and like so many hotels staffing seems stretched. Room 8 was uncomfortably warm even with the windows open and floor fan on. The Spa facility is at another establishment and attracts a £10pp fee so photos are rather misleading. Restaurant was very good with excellent staff. On site parking was limited and pretty tight but managed to find a space. Overall I enjoyed my stay, staff were friendly and did their best but some investment is needed to lift the Noel Arms back to its former glory"

"The staff were very friendly on arrival however there were some miscommunication and we were left for half an hour waiting to be checked in whilst we were missing the wedding which we questioned, the room was okay, quite small and basic but no issues, unfortunately there were skid marks in the toilet from someone else which then made us question the cleanliness, the light had a sensor in the bathroom and it kept going on and off during the night making a clicking noise which was quite annoying. "

"An adorable little cottage with plenty of space to be comfortable and everything you need. Only one problem was that there were tons of moths so I was paranoid about them eating our clothes and/or them hitching a ride back home with us. "

"Our room exceeded our expectations. It was in excellent condition, as though it had been recently renovated. Staff were lovely and made our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast included and Tuesday Indian banquet on site made a delicious evening meal. "
