"The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) "This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. You will need your mosquito repellant. The staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you, helping to make plans for hikes, arranging transport, doing any washing you have- they are really spot on. "Our 7 days at DCanal were lovely, it’s very peaceful, tucked away in the back streets. The free tuk tuk service to the town was very helpful. The pool, the staff, and the beaches nearby were a wonderful place to unplug. "
