"We’ve stayed at Evolution a few times for ski trips and access to Alpha, Nita, and Alta Lakes. There are also many paved bike trails nearby, and bike rentals are easy to find if you don’t have one.
It’s very family- and dog-friendly, with a pool, sauna, and hot tub, plus apartment-style suites with full kitchens. There’s also a kids’ games room downstairs, which is a nice bonus.
We prefer Creekside over the Village or Blackcomb base, so this location works well for us. Creekside has a more relaxed vibe and is less crowded and overwhelming. There are a couple of nice restaurants and coffe shops around.
If you don’t want to be in the middle of shopping and heavy foot traffic, this is a good option. There is frequent public transit to the Village if needed. Parking is easy underground (~$20/day), and EV chargers are available."
"We loved our stay at Nita Lake Lodge. It was really convenient that there was a free shuttle to Whistler Village whenever we needed it and the shuttle driver Jamie was a wealth of knowledge and so friendly. We loved the pool and all of the free amenities available to use on the lake. Dinner at The Den was incredible and the view was gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved that there was a Dyson hairdryer for use and we could use the robe, slippers, mini fridge and coffee in room for no extra charge. The only thing I would personally change is I found the bed was too firm and I would prefer a softer mattress. I would definitely go back and highly recommend Nita Lake Lodge."
"We have stayed here several times since it opened and have never been disappointed. The property is very well maintained and the rooms are very clean and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and eating utensils for cooking/eating. The property has just gone through a complete renovation so the rooms and common areas look brand new. The area is nice and quiet, the pool area is beautiful (with a bbq area for guests to use) and the underground parking charge is extremely reasonable. We had a two bedroom unit which sleeps 6. The beds were low enough for my elderly mother to get onto and the walk in showers were great for her to use with her walker. I would definitely recommend this property to couples, groups of friends and families."
"Comfortable for a overnight stay on a quick business trip.
There's one thing that stood out. No heat in the bathroom!!
Otherwise excellent.
It had an aircon unit with a sign saying not to use it.
This was fine with me, it was chilly in the room and the main heat did the job.
However before the end of the month (June) it will be needed.
If I need to return to Squamish I will stay again. If it's during the summer I will be sure to verify that there's a usable aircon unit."
"Great one night stop before an early ferry the next day. Very cute little town. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. It is a simple property. No frills. But exactly as described."
