"I love the location of Oxford Suites - an easy walk to Riverside Park and on into downtown. It is also an easy walk to quite a few restaurants, although I didn't need to because the snacks (chili and salad while I was there) at the afternoon refreshment time were enough for me. My room was clean and well-equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. My only concern was the connecting door to the next room. A child in that room kept opening it on his side and trying to open...

"The shuttle service was amazing! Pleasant drivers that took us in and out of the downtown area within 2 miles. ALL the staff was very pleasant! Wish they offered complimentary breakfast but lots of nice restaurants close by. Quite a long walk to your room from the front desk. All in all, very nice!"

"They don’t serve breakfast until 7am on the weekends, so if you have somewhere to be earlier than that, you won’t be getting breakfast here. But the staff was super friendly and the room was clean and comfy."

"I liked La Quinta. It’s clean, the price was right, and the breakfast was great. The 7-11 across the street attracts some sketchy characters. It was intimidating when we drove up and at first we were nervous about leaving the vehicle in the parking lot but everything was fine. The parking lot is fenced and gated on the side and back and we never saw any of the 7-11 residents cross over to the hotel property. Overall, it was fine."

"The staff was very helpful in changing our room from an accessible one to one that wasn’t. They also accommodated a request to place us on a different floor than the big group of kids that was staying there. Our room was well equipped and clean. The bed was comfortable, water free, and the view was outstanding."

"What can I say about a hotel that supplies earplugs in the room? The room was clean. Our room was on the second floor. To get to our room, we took the elevator up to the second floor and then up six narrow, steep stairs. Plus, when we checked in, they put a hold on our credit card for the entire stay. Basically, you pay upfront. The breakfast isn't exactly free. You have a choice of four dishes or $6 off any regular menu options which run about $11. You also pay for tea and coffee. Not exactly...

"Room wasn’t ready until 4:45. Told multiple times starting at 2 that it would be 15-30 min. Ended up having to shift plans because of this. Other than that, room was good, included breakfast was nice as well."
