We had a large group book a weekend stay for a birthday party with 7 rooms. Prior to the stay I almost cancelled due to a very rude front desk rep. I requested to have 2 of the rooms adjacent and she immediately said no, they don’t do that. A few days later we called and the Marriot rep was very nice and placed a note on our account for the adjacent room request and said no problem. Then the day before our arrival we called the front desk to see if early check in was available, the rude lady answered and told us they don’t do that either and she “immediately deleted the note” when it came through. Again we almost cancelled the entire reservation.
Luckily when we arrived we were greeted by a very nice receptionist that happily made all of our requests happen. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was wonderful everywhere and assisted us with our cake. The pool/hot tub was great and was nice how warm it was in January. Also the food was fantastic. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lady I spoke to on the phone. Our family agreed to make it an annual tradition trip
