"The most needed improvement for me would be to replace stained carpeting and furniture in the rooms. Once you have tried and failed to remove the stains, the only thing left to do is replace the soiled carpeting and furniture. It may be clean but it looks like crap."

"The water ran at a trickle in the bathroom sink. The breakfast was the worst offering in my travels probably ever. For what the room charges were I felt i paid for a Hilton and received a Motel 6."

"Easy parking, great access to the Main Street in Oneonta and close to the colleges. Free breakfast. Room was clean, but shows lots of wear and tear. Hotel does not seem to have been updated since it was built. Funky smell. Nice people."

"Not the cleanest. The room had a slight odor upon entering. Opened window when I arrived and it helped. just smelt stale. Later on when I turned on the wall heater, there was a horrible odor, but luckily it cleared up shortly. The rug definitley was dirty. When I left sunday morning, I wiped my slippers clean befor packing them and the washcloth was BLACK. Not really sure Id go back"

"The owner was very nice. This is a quaint old inn about 15 minutes from Oneonta. I had my own room and bathroom. I heard from friends that the breakfast was really good, but I didn't eat there. The place was very convenient and well worth the price."

"I good motel in close proximity to Cooperstown, Oneonta and the Fly Creek Cider mill. The staff do a good job of maintaining the facility and are friendly and service oriented. ( HVAC filters needed cleaning for those guests with allergies,) The check-in policy is a bit cumbersome yet understandable given the potential liability issues but was hard to read on the small 3-inch credit card screen making you feel trapped and reliant on a clerk's trustworthy explanation. "My earlier concern of door to room hard to open turned out to be my issue of being left handed!!!! However we did encounter our coffee maker not working and when brought to the attention of staff, were very willing to replace. Staff was definitely helpful."

"The Landmark Bed & Breakfast was just lovely. An historic old home that has been lovingly restored with modern amenities. The staff is very helpful and kind. The morning gourmet breakfast is outstanding and plentiful. There are free snacks and campfire with S'more's. The inn is in walking distance to downtown and very close to Lake Otesaga. I highly recommend!"

"We booked two rooms and Hailey made sure to put us together. She could not have been kinder about helping us to find places to eat and make us feel comfortable as we dropped my son off for his first semester of college."

"This room was soooooo small!!! Think baby's nursery kind of small. The bathroom was literally a closet at some point. Don't use the pictures from the website trick you into believing these rooms are spacious, because they are not. You will be better off staying at one of the major hotel chains in the area for half the price and breakfast is included."
