We had a wonderful time at the Landmark Inn!! It is absolutely gorgeous, and every person we met there was friendly and helpful. Our room was incredible! It had the charm of an inn, but with modern conveniences, like a large shower with 3 different shower heads. The breakfast was fantastic!! Each dish was special, and the kitchen folks were really fun to talk to. I can’t say enough about how great the Landmark Inn was. We would love to go back. Did I mention that everything is spotless??!
Absolutely beautiful property and room. It was immaculate and the breakfast was 5 stars. We were able to walk everywhere. The owner even let us keep our car there for a couple of hours after we checked out. I would go back again and stay here in a heartbeat. Exceeded my expectations.
This was a beautiful property. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Food was delicious. Only problem was the bedroom walls were a little thin, could hear the neighbor on the phone. But don’t let that keep u up up away. It is a true find
So welcoming and friendly - Nick greeted us and made a dinner suggestion- fire pit in the evening - comfortable room and linens - lovely breakfast, beautifully presented - enjoyed chatting with owner Keith
What a charming Bed & breakfast! Such a clean, quiet, relaxing spot. The room was so comfy and the breakfast was amazing! Great spot located right in town. Very easy to walk to everything. We had a lovely stay.
This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend!
Landmark Inn is very quaint and cozy. The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms and property are clean and well maintained.
Gret bed and breakfast; beautifully restored Victorian, incredibly attentive and polite staff, great breakfasts with easy accommodations for gluten free, 24/7 coffee and tea available, and an easy walk to downtown and sights. highly recommend
Stayed in Casey's room. It was very nice and comfy. Everyone working there especially Keith were very nice and helpful. Short walk to town and a lovely classic property.
This is a property that tries very hard to provide a quality experience, and they add a number of small touches, like homemade cookies in the lobby, and a white noise machine in the room.
The room itself was pleasant—the bed sheets were extraordinary, but the mattress was very much on the firm side (more to my wife’s liking than to mine). The bathroom is quite nice, but the maze of handles and nozzles in the shower was hard to decipher.
We had to leave before getting a chance to experience the breakfast (the first seating was not until 8), but the smells coming from the kitchen suggested that it is worthwhile.
This B&B exceeded our expectations, it was so wonderful! Walking distance to downtown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, walking distance to the lakefront. The Inn is in a beautiful historic building, the breakfast was excellent, the service was outstanding, and we ended every evening with s'mores by the wood burning fire pit. Very charming and peaceful!
If I could give 6 stars I would!! If you like to stay in historic B&Bs then this is the perfect one! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The 1850 house is beautifully restored but with a little modern twist to some of the accessories. The breakfasts were outstanding in a lovely dining room with fireplace served by a caring staff. We were there in the fall so it was cool, but the grounds would be great in the summer. They have thought of everything!
From the moment you step on the property you are transported back to a more elegant era. This stunning historic home has been meticulously restored, preserving the beauty of a classic 1800s mansion while updating it with all the modern touches needed for today’s comfort. Nick welcomed us in and taught us a bit of history about the property. Our Hemingway room was a perfect way to relax at the end of a long day of walking, shopping, and eating. Cozy bed, comfy sitting chair and writing desk in a beautifully minimally decorated room, with high ceilings and art reminiscent Hemingway’s great adventures. The bathroom is modern elegant with all the finishing touches and amenities of a 5 star luxury hotel. In the morning, the sitting area was a beautiful way to start the day, sitting in front of the fire with a cup of tea and a good book. The finishing touch was breakfast. Vita is a fantastic chef. The rosemary lemon French toast with homemade bread topped with fruit lemon curd and maple syrup was probably one of the most spectacular breakfasts I have ever had, my husband, (not a foodie) asked for seconds! The bread was perfectly prepared with the earthy scent of the rosemary contrasted with the tartness of the lemon curd finished with the sweetness of the fruit and the real maple syrup was amazing. Now I have to figure out how to try to replicate it. I heard she makes terrific pancakes. Will have to come back soon for that. So happy to have found this gem!!!!
The building itself is a beautiful Victorian with modern art touches. The staff was exceptionally informative and welcoming. Our room was spotless with very high quality linens and a wonderful multi-jet shower. The bed was very comfortable. Recommended highly.
