"Enjoyable two night stay at Esk Vale. Contacted Andy about possible earlier check in, which was no problem & much appreciated. Had a double room en suite with a comfortable bed. Breakast was excellent too, everything cooked to order. Would definitely stay again "

"This bed-and-breakfast is wonderful. A very cute hotel with a very nice breakfast. The location is fabulous. Only a block away from the Portsmouth historical Harbour area which includes the Mary Rose Tudor ship Museum. Located across the street from the train, bus station, and the ferry terminal if you want to go to the Isle of Wight. It’s an adult only property so you have to be over 21 to stay there. I highly recommend it."

"On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. "Great start may love staying here but chef has been changed so breakfast for £14 each was bad"

"The room was clean and decor in good. It was air-conditioned but stopped during the night, there was a window but it was locked shut so not a great nights sleep. If these hotels want to save on electric please let us open a window. We wouldn't stay in the summer months due to this reason alone. Convenient for parking, shopping and eating and good value for money."

"A hidden gem in a fantastic location. It doesn't look much from the outside, but this is a great hotel, a 2 minute walk from Gun Wharf and the Historic Dockyard. Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend"
