"This was an amazing place with an incredible nostalgia. We got there at midnight the first night because of a late flight. One of the members of the family who owned this place, showed up at the gate and let us in. When you get there, you get a key to open the gate into the garden area. The rooms are old, but designed with a lot of charm. We had the bathroom with the pinewood tub. The entire experience was five stars. "I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels and I have to say that this hotel was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. Housekeeping came every other day to refresh the room and each time they did an excellent job. The hotel is very close to the airport, so if you are a light sleeper it might night be the best place to stay. The noise from the airport didn’t bother me. The only issue I had was an employee in training ran my credit card as a gift card and it messed up my bank account...

"The linen was stained. Bathroom for did not work properly. A chair and the soft bed had a distinct odor. The chair was stained as well. While checking in the front deck person. Stop checking me in to help someone else that was there after me. I thought well thats rude. There were no instructions on how to check out. Not posted in room or even told when checking in."

"As far as a basic room goes, it was small, super clean and comfortable. However, I could hear the neighbor walking upstairs, and it woke me up super early. The bathtub also could have used a renovation. Even though it was clean, the enamel had worn off and it gave a look that didn’t make it inviting to get in. There also a lot of smokers outside the lobby so even though the rooms are nonsmoking, you still get the smell of the second hand smoke when you’re waiting to be picked up outside. Fine...
