"I stayed with my elderly parents at the crown Hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the rooms were clean however unfortunately when leaving there was an attempt to charge me a payment that wasn’t due. I query this as a mistake had obviously been made and I was met with a sullen response from the receptionist who was borderline directly rude. I will never stay at this hotel again. I would not recommend it."

"Was given a room that had a smoky smell at first. After pointing out to the receptionist she found another room to relocate. The VAT receipt (£35.50) did not cover the fee i paid to Hotel.com (£41.99) which was a bit odd."
