"Apparently shoulder season means everything was closed (resturants, bars, breakfast, not even a vending machine for drinks or snacks were available). When we called front desk they said go across the street for a vending machine or take the bus down town. Seemed more like a prison than a resort. No ac in the room and had to request a box fan from front desk to handle the heat in our room. "If you are looking for a historic inn, this is the place to stay! It was so quiet that we had to turn on the fan to create some noise. Lovely breakfast with 2 types of quiche, good coffee and a delicious fruit salad. We will be going back to see the famous Redstone Castle and some other attractions in the area!"
