"Restaurant is under construction. Noise & dust everywhere. Supervisor, Sam, was rude to us when asking for assistance with drink machine that was not working properly. Told us that it might be fixed tomorrow. Told him we were leaving tomorrow, said "Have a good day." RUDE Housekeeping came at 4 pm. once we returned to our room to get ready for the evening. Our room never got cleaned. The only positive thing is that the ladies that work at the front desk were super nice!"

"The staff are helpful and friendly, and the only reason this hotel gets any stars. The lobby has an unbearably strong perfume smell. Like something died in there and they are trying to cover it up with perfume. Then you go to the elevator and it’s a different fragrance but equally overpowering. Stains all over the hallway carpet makes me think people puke there regularly. My room was missing a couch. You could clearly see the outline of the missing furniture as evident by the discolored paint....

"This property is very close to great cafes and unique shops. The price was reasonable. Our room was a bit small but clean and the beds comfortable. Parking was free which is a big bonus in LA. We had everything we needed and were helped by the manager to rent a downstairs room as we are Golden Oldies and have a bit of trouble on stairs. I was even surprised at how quiet it was for being on Hollywood Way. It would be nice if the front window opened more than a couple of inches, but they might...

"Absolutely lovely oasis of a hotel within walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Clean, updated rooms, quick easy check in. Coffee and juice available during office hours. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast. Easy walk to 7-11. Plenty of parking - we always got a spot right by our room. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Anything near to LA can be sketchy but this was pretty good. This was our second time staying here and would stay again."
