"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "Stella at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property has a serenity spa vibe to it. It has a geothermal pool and 2 hot tubs. There is also a quaint river beside it which we swam in as our cold plunge. The food at the restaurant is awesome. Breakfast buffet was really good. Highly recommend this place."

"We did not eat breakfast there but they had a nice area to eat and to relax, separate from our room, offering coffee, tea and hot chocolate at no cost. Staff was most helpful. There was plenty of parking available. We just had to enter the name of the hotel and our Apple map led us there very easily. Getting to Westman Islands was easy from there, as was the Golden Circle. "
