Great location. Comfortable room. Great service at check in. Great meal for dinner and nice
buffett breakfast to start the day. The natural hot spring hot tubs were the perfect place to watch the northern lights.
This hotel was incredible. The restaurant was delicious and a lot of the food is cooked in their Geothermal oven. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the river. Beds were comfy and we loved the hot tub. The only thing to note, is there is a strong sulfur smell in the rooms, but it didn’t bother us that much. After a while you get used to it .
Perfection! I watched the aurora directly from my bed! The staff took such a great care of me, the room was clean and cozy, food at the restaurant was excellent. I look forward to coming back.
The best hotel found. Room with balcony points exactly at the northern lights. Great food steam cooked woth geothermal source at the restaurant. Very kind staff. Excellent.

Ok. The hotel is quite worn on the outside, pool was dirty, one hot tub was not working, the second one was. Breakfast was ok, just a few offerings but the view was good. We were in a family room, faced the parking lot instead of the creek and hillside. Sad. Bathroom was small with the smallest sink i have ever seen. Hot water was plentiful. Our enterance door lock did not engage to shut but our deadbolt did. Thank goodness. But the door did not close all the way because the weatherstripping was all torn up and did not create a good seal.
Check in was slow. Receptionest was on the phone conducting some business for the 5 minutes I waited in front of her. Completely ignore me. Once done, she checked me in and told me my room number, telling me to walk up till I see the pool, and it is arround the fence. Yep. I found it!
For the price I paid, I was expecting more.
The location worked well for our 3 day stopover / visit as it was more or less on the way to most of the destinations we had planned. We did enjoy the sauna, hot tub and pool at the end of a long day travelling about.
