"Lawrence at check-in was awesome. Great property, great time. No stress. I think thats all you can really ask for in a stay. Everything else the village provides is just the extra comfort really. The service was excellent everywhere we went and I didnt even have to bat an eye in regards to knowing we were taken care of. The view from the room. Wow.. truly remarkable. "Everything was great. Staff helpful & friendly. Location great for us. Close to my nephews & the beach. Only thing was the king mattress was hard. It was like sleeping on a bale of hay. Also, the metal chairs on our lanai were oversized & a bit odd. They took up most of the lanai. Other than that, pool, bar area, staff, food by the pool & location were all great. I would stay again but may try a different size bed."

"Our family likes the location very much! It is close to Ala Moana Mall and it is very convenient to get to Waikiki. We also have a rental car so we went to different beaches and drove around the island. At night, we swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub. We got the partial ocean view room and it was spacious and comfortable for the family of four. Staff members are very friendly. "We do not recommend this hotel if you are coming from non-English speaking countries. The front desk receptionist who was also Asian like us had a terrible attitude and was lazy and did not even greet us. However, she was very friendly to white American travelers. We speak perfect English but we felt we were ignored and were not explained about how to enjoy the facility well because we came from Japan. "There was no staff. The front desk made absolutely sure that they would not give us any help as we were renting from a tenant. The glasses were filthy and the ironing board was sticky and unusable. It was in a great location for us and we only had to spend one night so ….. we wondered why they supplied us with earplugs and we soon found out the reasons. It was also extremely noisy! "
