"Nice clean room, the shower room was a bit tired but fully functional and lots of hot water also the supplied towels were really fluffy. Bed was super comfy and huge. We had a quiet night with no disturbances. Only downside, no glasses for water for overnight/taking tablets but I wouldn't want to be too picky. "

"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "

"Delightful pub with excellent accommodation. Cosy or elegant indoor dining areas and extensive outside seating area. Imaginative and tasty menu. Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). Hindon is a picturesque village with charming cottages and discernable outlines of the many coaching inns once there (of which the Grosvenor Arms is one). Plenty to do in the surrounding countryside. "Room was great, although a little warm, even with the radiator turned v low and window open but clean and lovely touches such as fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge, homemade biscuits and even small hot water bottles. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door with large gaps, not ideal but also not a big issue. Staff were amazing, evening meal was v good, breakfast was amazing! You won't go hungry. Large car park, great views and in a quiet remote setting. Will be back "
