I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "The facility is a little dated and distant from public transportation. You will need to utilize either a taxi or the provided shuttle to Kawaguchiko station. Otherwise, every single room has a stunning view of Mt. Fuji, the public bath is nice enough, the breakfast is pretty good, and the staff were helpful with English-speaking guests.
