All of this is true: 1. hair in the sink 2. balled up, filthy washcloths shoved into the AC unit 3. stains all over the walls 4. putrid cigarette smell 5. holes in the bathroom door 6. a live-in neighbor who banged on the wall and screamed the second I got in the room 7. a stinkbug infestation in the curtains and under the bedskirt 8. drunk live-in neighbors who chain-smoked I just left at 11:45pm and got another place. This place should be condemned."

"Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. "From start to finish, we had an excellent stay. Staff was helpful and friendly and very on top of things when a bad storm came through. Will definitely return!"

"The sheets were stained and had bugs. When letting the front desk know I was told there were not any other rooms available. I asked to get my money back and he said he did not know how to do a refund. I reported this to Expedia and will be asking for my money back. Not only was the bed sheets filthy but the walls in the hallway were not clean either. Management needs to be reviewed at this hotel. We ended up leaving and getting a room in a different hotel. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!!"

"This hotel is not what is shown in the pictures. It was evident when I pulled in with my family that the hotel was not clean nor safe due to multiple reasons. We asked for a refund due to the reasons and they refused to refund us. Stay away from this hotel and find some where else even if it cost more money"

"Excellent location with lots of easy free parking. Chef made us a delicious, large portion, plated breakfast each morning. She was extremely helpful answering questions about the property, surrounding sites and places to dine for dinner. Bonus- "The Barn" is located right next to the Inn and had live entertainment both nights we stayed. I highly recommend this Inn if looking to stay in Harper's Ferry!!"

"I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The property is in serious need of maintenance and upkeep. The buildings were dirty, poorly maintained, and gave the impression that cleanliness is not a priority. We also encountered a significant bug problem throughout the building. What concerned me the most was the apparent lack of security. The doors did not seem to lock properly and there was a noticeable gap between the door and frame.
