"I love this place! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are wonderful. The barn is dog friendly, the house is beautiful. There's free parking, a short walk to the park & ride, a pub in walking distance, and a swimming pool! What's not to like!"

"A proper "motel" on the side of an A road. Served us perfectly. Car park close to the building, check in staff very welcoming and helped carry our cases to the bedroom. The room was basic, it didn't smell particularly fresh in the room and the furniture was tired. No air conditioning but we bought a fan from home and kept the window open which kept us comfortable overnight during the heat wave. It's not a luxury room you'd want to hang out in for a long holiday break, but fine for an overnight stop. The bar area looked nice but we didn't make use of it. Couldn't complain for the money, cheap stop over in an otherwise very expensive area!"

"The property was excellent with really good thought out apart-hotel style room. Everything one would need for at least 2 /3 nights onwards. Unusual option to have your fridge filled with food for a charge so that you can cook breakfast or a meal in your room with all the necessary utensils provided. Superb staff also who take great pride and care with everything."

"My stay at the Chalk Hare was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was new and very clean with a rainflow shower. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The location was perfect - right in the center of town - so you could walk and explore the beautiful old city and visit the Cave. FIVE STARS all around!"

"Lovely hotel, hotel room was clean. Very comfortable bed and shower was hot. It was quiet which is what we needed after all the walking in Cambridge city. Check in was a little crazy as the receptionist was checking us and other guests at the same time. It was annoying as there were other staff members there behind the receptionist desk who should have helped. That is the only negative thing I could say about our stay. Will book to stay at this hotel again, it was very easy to get into the city from the hotel."

"Room 554 is a spacious twin room with a pleasant view across the train station forecourt. An excellent budget hotel with great facilities. Nice staff. Room has everything you need including charging cubes for plugs and USB. Excellent location by the railway stations with taxis right outside. 24 hour bar service, sandwiches and snacks available in the cafe and pizzas available until 3am, great air con. The bathroom pods are not my favourite thing but the hotel is such good value it's not enougg to put me off."
