This hotel is located in the center of Jongno, providing easy access to major tourist attractions and business districts. I visited Seoul this time and chose the The Designers hotel in Jungno, and my overall experience was very satisfying! The hotel's location is very convenient, right near the metro station, with easy access to Jingfu Palace, Insadong, and Myeongdong, making transportation incredibly convenient. Although the room isn't particularly large, it exudes a strong sense of design, is clean and tidy, and the bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure, and bathing is very comfortable. The room offers coffee, tea, and mineral water, with thoughtful details. The front desk staff are very friendly, knowing both simple Chinese and English, communicating without any issues, and they even proactively helped me check the subway lines. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to go out and eat in the evening. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, has a fashionable design, and is well-located. I would definitely choose it again when I visit Seoul next time! I highly recommend this to friends visiting Korea for the first time.

The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Jongno 3-ga Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and provided clear and attentive guidance during check-in, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The rooms reflect the unique and stylish design concept of the hotel. The soft lighting and thoughtful decor created a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a full day of sightseeing. The bedding was comfortable and spotless, and essential amenities such as a mini-fridge, electric kettle, and hairdryer were all thoughtfully provided. A notable feature is the laundry room on the first floor, which is very convenient for long stays or unexpected laundry needs. Since I needed a comfortable place to recover, I chose Hotel The Designers Jongno, and it turned out to be the perfect choice ✨. Located in the heart of Jongno, the hotel offers excellent accessibility. It’s within walking distance of Seoul National University Hospital, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Insadong. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, making the stay incredibly convenient. The room design is modern and stylish, with plenty of natural light creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The bed was soft and clean, perfect for resting after surgery. The bathroom was spotless, with a great shower and stable hot water supply. There’s also a small workspace and fast Wi-Fi, which made it easy to work or relax 💻. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The lobby isn’t huge, but it’s stylish and gives off a calm, boutique vibe. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in super easy — a great start after a long flight. But what really stood out to me was **how clean everything was**. The bed linens were spotless, the towels were fresh and fluffy, and the whole room just felt well cared for. Later I found out the hotel had **recently replaced all their towels**, which totally explained why everything smelled so clean and felt brand new. As a traveler, cleanliness is a big deal for me, and this place exceeded my expectations. I stayed one night at Hotel The Designers Jongno during my trip to Seoul, and it was a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming from check-in, explaining everything clearly and making me feel truly cared for — it really set a positive tone for my stay. The location was perfect for sightseeing — Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon Stream were all within walking distance. It was so convenient to explore the area without needing transportation, and there were plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Parking was available for an additional fee, which was convenient since I had my car. There were also light snacks and simple meals available late at night, which was great when I didn’t feel like going out. When I had trouble ordering delivery, a staff member kindly helped me — I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and excellent service. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom and a shared microwave on each floor for heating food or drinks. I especially liked that the hotel had laundry and drying machines available. Since it rained during my stay, being able to wash and dry my clothes made everything feel so much fresher and more comfortable. ☔💛 Overall, I had an excellent stay. Solid stay!

The rooms are all unique and quite special. We had a couple of small issues with the bathtub but the staff were very helpful, we were even offered a different room but chose to stay when their other sollutions worked. The hotel is extremely central to both Myeongdong, Jongno Shrine, and many other places. A good place to stay in Seoul. Bed was quite firm but we got used to it.

I fl in from Australia all excited for my Seoul adventure… and immediately got greeted by a monsoon. By the time I dragged myself into The Designers Hotel, I looked less like a traveler and more like a wet mop with luggage. But here’s where the story gets better: the front desk staff (who, by the way, are always there 24/7 like superheroes in suits) upgraded me for free to a room with two beds. Did I need two beds? Absolutely not. Did I love it? Of course. One for me, one for my soggy backpack. We both slept well. Then I discovered the laundry room, and wow. Not the sad, coin-operated kind you see in dodgy hostels, but a sleek, modern setup that made me want to do laundry even when my clothes were already clean. After a few spins in that machine, I smelled less like “rainstorm survivor” and more like “functional human again.” The hotel itself is like a convenience store and a cozy home rolled into one. There’s a parking lot (for the smart people who didn’t arrive on foot in the rain), and a magical little corner that sells snacks, drinks, booze, and ramen. Dangerous combination, because suddenly it’s 2 a.m. and you’re holding a beer in one hand and slurping noodles with the other, wondering how life got so good. Unbelievable terrible. Unclean bathroom, uncomfortable bed, very small tiny living room. With wosrt services i have ever met. DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. There are much more better choices in that area.

I liked choosing the room upon checkin since they are all styled very different. Room looked great although upclose some more maintenance could be done. Nevertheless really enjoyed our stay, the location is great. Walking distance to several lively areas!

Luxury on a budget, would stay again.

Budget friendly hotel, the aesthetic of the hotel and rooms are very nice. We booked Suite and figured to have spa bath in the middle of the room but we were unfortunate to get one of the only suites without and it was also really not our style. (The green suite with pictures and frames all over the walls) fortunately the hotel accomodated us really nicely morning after and let us change to another suite that was almost top floor. All in all a good stay and for the price we paid you do get alot. Just keep in mind that the reality is a bit different from advertised pictures.

The place is dirty, there is mold in the bathroom and some areas in bedroom. Found hair in couple areas, the shower is leaking. I could not wait for the next day to come so I can leave.
