"A very convenient location next to the river. Close to everything. Charming Victorian hotel. Carpets need to be replaced, but generally the place was in good shape. Clean. Breakfast was classic buffet, nothing exciting, but plenty to eat and everything tasted fine. Dinner was pretty good. However, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area, so I am guessing many guests are not having dinner at the hotel. The bar (in the restaurant) had a few draft beers and plenty of liquor choices. The staff members were all VERY friendly and helpful. "

"The hotel was fabulous and you could easily spend the entire day in their wonderful forest grounds, we saw deer, red squirrels and salmon. A truly magical place to get lost in. "
