"We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again. "

"Well located in the centre of Scarborough and close to all shopping and amenities. A few minutes walk and you’re down on the seafront, funicular available for those who don’t dance the walk back up. Parking is always a pain in Scarborough but there’s an NCP car park across the road (£12 for 24 hours as at June 2025). Breakfast was well cooked and filling. "
