This place is great! It is very centrally located, in the thick of things but very quiet in the room.
The rooms are very basic but super nice, nonetheless.
Staff is very friendly.
Property had a great & convenient location, just minutes from downtown. Property owners are super friendly and helpful, and also have an amazing restaurant and several businesses just downstairs. Would highly recommend staying here upon return.
This is a great no-frills hotel. It sits on the Main Street in Sayulita and has a bank, coffee shop, cigar shop, and taco place downstairs. It’s extremely walkable with several farmers markets, restaurants, shopping, and the beach all within a 5-10 minute walk.
Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Room well appointed with ample electrical outlets for charging devices, and strong wifi. Small refrigerator and a kitchen sink were a bonus. Ceiling fan and air conditioning worked well for keeping the room cool. Excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach.
The only negatives:
- the check-in process was a little confusing. You need to go to the Smoke Shop on street level to check-in, and then staff will give you an access code for the glass door leading up to the second floor where the rooms are situated.
- ambient noise from adjacent rooms, and from the neighbourhood, was apparent at times and hard to tune out. Not the fault of Casa Pia, but something to be aware of...
Overall a good place for your money. It ’s in a great location. Super easy checkin and checkout. It’s not the cleanliest in all areas but not bad by any means. It’s modern and has a nice patio. A little loud but you will get that anywhere in Sayulita
Good location it's close to the beach and restaurants, etc.
DOWNSIDES:
1) THE WIFI IS SLOW-NON FUNCTIONING AT TIMES. That's not acceptable.
2) The shower leaks into the toilet area even if you've closed the shower curtain properly so you're left with cleaning duties in your trip.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
My family of 4 had a happy time, the room was clean and spacious, and the shared kitchen area was well-equipped. Carmen communicated promptly and didn't mind us checking in an hour or so early. The 8-minute walk to the beach is ok, though it's 15 minutes to get to where there are no rocks or stones underfoot in the sea.
Though the place is excellent value for money, it has a rustic quality: the bathroom door doesn't close easily; the toilet is one of those 90s models (common in cheap Mexican hotels) that can't handle toilet paper, so you have to drop it into a bin, and the seat tends to slide off the rim when you're sitting on it; the kitchen patio roof is built too low for anyone who's 6 feet tall (I hit my head several times); and the pool is the smallest I've ever seen, ok for a dip to cool off but nothing more.
I would definitely recommend, the staff it’s super nice, the location is amazing (On the Main Street), the room was simple but clean and functional, they have a big terrace you can hang in, they also offer free drinkable water (cold or hot). If you stay you need to try the tacos downstairs and the tiny restaurant right across the street (both are delicious)

The place was safe, busy area. Motorcycles run it up-and-down all night if it wasn't for that, it would have been a lot better.
