"Excellent place to stay! It was local to the metro and the property was very nice! The staff was excellent!"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. You can tell they put a lot of thought into designing a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The ocean view from the room and balcony was great for sunsets. The staff were friendly and helpful, I got a booklet in English with all important information which was very useful. The beach is very nice but it was a bit dirty when I visited, which is not the fault of the hotel. I had a very relaxing stay and would love to come back."

"Incredible stay, food was outstanding! Rooms were magnificent. Will return!"

"Amazing room at a great price. Felt like a five star hotel at three star prices."

"Great hotel!"

"The breakfast was excellent, great access to public transport and friendly English speaking staff. The bedroom was clean with a powerful water presure shower. highly recommend hotel in Kyoto."

"Breakfast was the best"

"That’s a Ryokan with all the associated Japanese experience. The only somewhat negative is location - not close to any local dining or public transportation (a free shuttle in the morning helps though)."

"This hotel is the perfect serene escape from the bustle of Kyoto city. The staff are incredible, all spoke English and were so helpful and really made us feel welcomed and cared for the whole time. The included drinks are delightful and we were able to sample the full tea selection as well as several alcoholic beverages even during our dinner- which I would also highly recommend booking!"
