"We arrived with low expectations because of the mixed reviews we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at RIU Guanacaste. The property was very well maintained and beautiful. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. The food was good, with plenty of options at the main Liberia buffet restaurant, and we enjoyed the quality and flavors even more at Papagayo. Our room was cleaned every day, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay. The drinks were excellent at every bar, and the bartenders were generous with the alcohol and brought great energy to the experience. The entertainment was also enjoyable. They did a great job keeping guests entertained and happy while the shows were going on. Overall, our experience was much better than we expected based on the reviews we had read. I would definitely recommend RIU Guanacaste to anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful resort while exploring Costa Rica!"

"We loved our stay at The Palms! Overall, the hotel is very cute and clean. We really appreciated that the cleaning staff tidied our room for us everyday. The pool area was amazing and the location of the hotel could not be beat - just a 2 minute walk from the beach! We would definitely stay here again. "This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. We totally enjoyed our week here. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was great. The pool was great. The restaurant was wonderful. The chef quality food was awesome! We ate there every day. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. We were in the area for our residency visa appointments. If we are back in the area again, we would stay there in a heartbeat. This is truly a hidden gem."
