"This was a very charming apartment in a nice, walkable area of town. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were very accurate. It is true that the stairs are steep. The many rooms make it easy to stay with family. The dining table was nice for playing cards. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a nice view of the river from the top floor. "Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location. Alfama is the old part of town, meaning you’re a little bit away from the main commercial square, but we found it easy to walk down to the commercial area and take a cab back. Alfama also has steeper hills and narrow winding paths, so something to consider if you have any mobility issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here."

"I am obsessed with trains. I didn't pick a train side room because I knew the river was what I wanted more on this trip. but I wish I could've done both at the same time! The staff was courteous and knowledgable. I had to leave too early for breakfast and they offered and it was packed it for me. there is a kettle in the room! this is gold! and they were so good with when I really should leave for the airport and getting the taxi."

"Our apartment was very spacious and stylishly decorated, with direct access to the garden and pool. The fridge was stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham and jams. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon."
