"Beautiful room with beautiful view of the river, just like on the picture. Great location as well, about 10-15 minutes walk to most attractions. The host was great at communication. The only thing is initially we were charged the wrong amount for the city tax, which was confusing why that happened . Make sure to double check how many euros per person a day for the city tax."

"I was disappointed with this hotel as it was supposed to be 5 star. The staff were just ok didn’t really go out of their way with help or advice. The barman was quite unhelpful and rude. Also there was building work going on next door so we couldn’t even sit on the balcony or have the doors open because of this. The hotel did not fore warn us of this when we booked otherwise I would have reconsidered our stay!"

"The property was in a great location! Many restaurants and cafes, just outside the door, only a short walk (15min) to the river front. The room was fantastic, clean with plenty of space! Not a problem for us, but being a renovated older building, there is only stairs, no elevators - other travellers may need to know this. Otherwise a great place to stay in Porto!"

"Excellent location in Porto! Walking distance to every thing. Rooms are clean and pretty spacious for European standards. Hotel staff are friendly and go out of their way at to make sure you’re attended to. Nice hotel bar and Italian restaurant in the lobby area. Area outside the hotel can get loud. My room is we located in the back in the hotel. Blue zone. Which was nice and quieter. There’s a great local bar out front called Bar Aduela. It was packed every night! Worth checking out...
