It was an excellent apartment hotel with a nice balcony overlooking the river. Even though it was on a main road it was very quiet with some excellent places to eat nearby.

A wonderful place to stay, especially if you are going out on one of the Douro river cruises. Our accommodations were very nice and staff was friendly and accommodating. It was in a more residential area, so nothing was really close by, but it's just a short hop by bus to the city's main attractions

This is my kind of accommodation. Low key but with all the essentials. Cleanliness, coffee machine, comfortable bed and quiet location. The view is stunning although you are some 15 minutes walk from the Ribeiro.

Location is great as it’s very walkable. On a busy street and we were on first floor so couldn’t keep the windows open for road noise. There was a lot of foot traffic noise from the room above. Staff are very friendly and the room decor is lovely

Love this place! Marta was great!

Loved the tiny little hotel , super comfortable, best sleep I had in days. Wish I was on 2nd or 3rd floor as 1st floor river view is blocked by buses in the day time… but I was actually out all day anyway

The room was very clean. My flight got in Porto at 7 am and they were able store my luggage and give me a map of the city to go explore before my check-in time. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was great, I had the single room with Balcony that had a nice view of the river. I walked to and from the centre a couple times a day, even all the way to Gaia which was only a 30 min walk. I saw other reviews so I can prepared with earplugs, so noise was not an issue for me. Overall, I recommend!

This quaint hotel was the perfect location for us , close to bus stops and perfect walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The staff is great , from having a map ready with restaurants and attractions circled when you arrive to having a taxi waiting for you when you depart!!

Hotel with a good view at Douro Valley

Good location to have a view at Douro River. Room is spacious, clean and tidy. A point to note is that the soundproof condition is not good enough and you can still hear much sound from the main road along the river.

Cute little hotel with the Douro River just across the street. River view from our small balcony and an unexpected beautiful firework over the river just in front of our room on our first night. Marta welcomed us beautifully, she was really great and funny.

The view is why you are staying here! It was easy to find and close to most attractions. If you are afraid of stairs then this might not be for you, though there is an elevator for your luggage which u can take if needed.

We ended up not staying because of location which was quite misleading in proprty description. We thought we were in wrong place it was so misleading. It was studied by hostels and looked extremely run down. The area looked rough, was noisy and a current rented told us it was extremely loud and difficult to sleep. The room itself was accurate and quaint. The description that the propery was on the river also somewhat musleading as it really was more of a river view and not a great view at that. If you don't mind that type of location the room was cute though very small.. we opted to take the hit and bin somewhere else. The owner was responsive and provided for check in procedures but muslead disinformation area. The is loud
