"Location is excellent, 2 minutes and you are at the Riverside. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable bed. Self check in & codes sent to access the property (There are 2 lifts, so make sure you take the right one) Safe in the room but i could not open it and got no response to my query which is why i gave 4 stars not 5. I would recommend & stay again as its great for a short city break. "

"Brilliant hotel in a beautiful location but if you don’t book the indoor pool before you arrive you probably won’t get to use it. We tried to use it for one of our three days after we arrived but were told we needed to book it. We were then told it was already fully booked for all days of our trip. So the only way we could have used the indoor pool is to book it before we arrived - but we did not know we had to book it."

"It was a really nice stay and the staff we're great at making sure you had everything you needed. My only thing was the pool/sauna use, to me it was strange that you had to book a timeslot everyday and you could only have 45min sessions. Sometimes you do just want to sit by the pool and chill and that felt limited."

"We had an enjoyable stay in a one-bedroom apartment with a city-view balcony. The balcony was quite small, but just about accommodated the two of us. However, we were disappointed as we chose this hotel specifically for its pool and spa facilities. The spa turned out to be only a treatment room, and the pool was closed for refurbishment. As a result, there was a noticeable amount of noise, particularly on one day when it felt more like a building site. If you are going check if the pool work is complete. It is in a convenient location. 2 minutes walk from the water front of Gaia where you can look onto beautiful Porto or 20 minutes to cros the river and you are there. Nice small restaurants in the street are more reasonable and better quality than those on the front. You can walk very easily or there is a good metro network. Ebike cycle tour is a must."

"This hotel is a hidden gem! Carlos at the front desk provided amazing hospitality, greeting with a smile, always eager to assist and will made by stay the best! The entire staff are professional, the location is great and the breakfast is one of the best. I also had dinner there and it was very good, my only complaint was the service in the kitchen was extremely slow. I was the only one there when I put my dinner in and it took 30 mins just to get bread basket and another 25 minutes for my meal. The waiter was very good so I know it wasn’t him, it was the kitchen. Dinner was cooked perfectly and the portion size was great. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I really love the bath products. It is my favorite so far out of the 4 I stayed in Portugal and one of the top 2 favorite hotels in all of Europe during my travels. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable❣️ I can’t wait to return!"
