Unfortunately, Expedia advertised it as soundproof, but we were able to hear people talking outside the building on the opposite side of our room, along with a dog barking for almost an hour. "We were met by Francisco who told us that the house has been in his family for centuries. They’ve converted many rooms into guest accommodation and modernised but the vibe is charming. Room and bathroom were spotless. Bed comfortable. Easy walk to Obidos old city and castle. The location was quiet. Parking on site. "

When we got there late at night the front desk officer helped us to get a "diner" from the restaurant which was almost closing.
The other front desk officer (lady) was very helpfull to guide us how to buy tickets and how to get to the busstation.
We took the bus to both Lisbon and Porto.
The staff of the Breakfast area were very kind & friendly.
Jose was friendly and gives us some good tips. :-)
The room was very clean and comfortable.
We could walk in 3 minutes from the hotel to the beach area.
