"Only here for a night. Obstacle course to get to the hotel from the airport terminal. Wish they had mentioned that so I could have accepted the paid pickup. But once I got to the hotel it was like entering a haven. Everything about the place was wonderful. This is the second IHG Express I have stayed at this year. The first at Melbourne City & now Kolkata & both of equal standard. Generous room size. Great amenities. I enjoyed everything about both hotels & shall look for them in my future travels. Many thanks for a wonderful stay."

"One night in Kolkata before our flight home and wanted to treat ourselves. Fantastic service, all staff very helpful and accommodating, nothing way too much. Pool was quiet and relaxed and a well equipped gym. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of choice with local favourites and our waiter Aditya was amazing and arrange a lovely cake for use to take away. Will certainly be coming back. "

Tanmay at the front desk was proactive, getting one room ready by 10:00 AM and the second by 11:00 AM, well ahead of the 2:00 PM standard time. This exceptional effort made for a great start! Above-and-Beyond Dining: The kindness continued at Cal 27. Even though our breakfast technically began the next day, the staff didn't hesitate to welcome us. Nasir, Redima, and Naïm were absolutely phenomenal, providing amazing, personalized attention and making us feel instantly welcome. Thoughtful In-Room Service: Room service and in-room dining were prompt and perfectly executed. Housekeeping did an incredible job, leaving fresh sheets, rose petals, and a thank you note. Furthermore, they proactively noticed our request for extra water the day before and ensured we had a generous supply waiting—a detail that speaks volumes about their care. Integrity That Shines: The lasting impression was the incredible dedication shown as we departed. After checking out, a member of the room service staff ran down to the lobby to find us and return a polo shirt we had forgotten in the room. The staff here consistently demonstrates thoughtful, caring, and genuinely warm service, making our stay absolutely exceptional. We look forward to returning soon!"

"Great hotel. From the moment we arrived to check out, the staff were top rate - every single person encountered was pleasant, smiley, not just willing, but wanting, to help make the stay better. Could not ask for more. We booked an exec room and was on the 20th floor. Amazing views. Big room, really comfortable bed, big bathroom, top quality amenities. There's a great coffee shop on the ground floor, as well as the buffet breakfast area. Nightclub in the basement but that did not affect us. Great pool and fitness area. An absolutely fabulous stay and what a great place Kolkata is. Thank you"
