"I really had a nice stay at the hotel but I would not try out there Spa again. The room was very comfortable, an early check-in was possible, the food was okay and breakfast could be improved. The experience at the Spa was bad since they charged me a foot massage of an 60min and it is duration was much shorter."

"stay was good hotel was new overall its good. The only negative comment i had was the lights at the walkway. It was dark after you exit the lift to your room. Lights was not on except for night only. During the day it was also dark as not much sun light was entering. Other than that its all good."

"Liked hotel and helpful staff. Nothing immediately local but frequent local buses which run til 8.30/9pm back take you to Sandakan centre (RMS .70) where you can get good selection of foods and drinks. Lots of shopping malls. Sepilok(Orangutans and Honeybears) Labuk(Proboscis monkeys) Australian war memorial and Heritage trail were good. Only waste of time and money was Gomantong Bat caves. 4hrs from Sandakan, my camera could not get anything due to it's great size and darkness. Maybe nighttime...
