"Alexandra went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She made a fruit smoothie and coconut snack as a welcome treat. The Tico studio was very functional and fit the jungle environment. The bed was very comfortable and with the sound of the rain I fell asleep quickly and awoke refreshed. Honestly the best sleep and rest if the trip. Alexandra made empanadas and tea for breakfast. Totally unexpected as the description didn't indicate that breakfast was included."

"We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend...

"Lovely chic unique modern hotel. Online check in, restaurant on site, breakfast included. Our room was in the rear of the hotel. We walked a winding pathway outside, past the restaurant and to our duplex room with cute chairs in a covered porch. Clean and bright room. "
