"I appreciated the stay as I had traveled all day and welcomed a night to rest. The space is quaint & beautiful; I love all the plant decor! The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast included was delicious. It is located in a part of town I was uncomfortable with (as a foreigner), but the hostel was welcoming."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

Das Hotel besticht vor allem durch seine Lage im Dschungel und die tolle Anlage- hier fühlt man sich richtig wohl und in Costa Rica angekommen. Der Blick beim leckeren, landestypischen Frühstück ist ein Traum. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die unglaublich leckere Pizza - eine der besten Pizzen, die wir je gegessen haben (und das als Europäer). "No hot water in the shower. Charged us an extra 15USD for the 2nd person in the room. Food was so-so and pricey. They offered fruit for the morning as we were leaving before breakfast was served. They gave us one small container - enough for one person. We’ve been staying here regularly when we arrive and prior to leaving Costa Rica over the years as have friends and family based on our recommendation. Sadly, we will likely change hotels based on our last experience. Very disappointing. I...

"I have stayed here several times, but it has changed over time. The restaurant has changed and now has a few craft beers, but the service was better before. There is some new venue close by that blasts music. I suppose that makes the hotel more convenient if you are going to that venue, but less pleasant if you are just looking to have an easy trip to/from the airport."

"Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!"

"The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose...
