San Ignacio Hotels with Swimming Pool

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Mystic River Resort! The location in the jungle, near the Macal River, is magical! ALL of the staff provided warm and exceptional customer service - special shout outs to Florita, Dervin, Steve, Ebias, Leo, and Augusto. The complimentary birding tour was a delight and a favorite of ours. The Guide was so knowledgeable (we can't remember his name - sorry!) but we loved seeing the birds and learning more about Belize/Belizean culture on our drive back to Belize City (he was also our driver). All of the food and drinks were incredible - we especially loved the buffet when we first arrived and the nice cold Belikin - some of the best food we had the entire trip! We also enjoyed a couples massage, which was so relaxing along the Macal River listening to the birds and water flow by. We loved our cottage as well - the bed was very comfortable, the fireplace made for a cozy, romantic setting, and the balcony was our favorite spot to enjoy the morning Coffee Basket! :) Gio and Sylvia were both very helpful in coordinating our excursions and activities, transportation, and answering our many questions! We definitely hope to return to Mystic River Resort again in the future! Thank you for setting the bar high for our Belizean adventure and helping us create such wonderful memories! "

"It is impossible to put into words how amazing our stay was at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel was… but I’ll try. We were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel. Our driver was prepared with drinks for our trip and even stopped along the way and purchased some local fruit for us to try. Once at the hotel ever member of the staff was friendly and polite and helpful in every way. We stayed in the "

"The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable on all things Belize. The food was always delicious. Room keeping came at least twice per day and left delicious treats at night. The organic garden is beautiful and is part of the food menu!! Fresh and delicious food. We participated in the Mayan cooking class it was fantastic. We also completed the Xunantunich Historical Site tour and Cave Tubing through the hotel- excellent guide and we learned a lot about the Mayans. From the moment we arrived - we were offered cool hand towels and a refreshing fresh fruit drink to the moment we left, we were treated as VIP’s. Will stay here again and recommend to our friends!! "It doesn’t look like much from the front but we absolutely loved our stay!!!! We stayed in room 18 and the bed was amazing! The large screen TV after being out all day was nice to come back to. The room was big and comfy! We only had breakfast there and it was so good!!! Love the staff in the restaurant… for the price… so worth it!!!"
