Great location close to all the great restaurants and bars. Rooms were very clean, large, comfortable. Great little kitchen area with fullsize fridge in the room. Firness center well maintained and nice. We will stay again.

Great rooms for an excellent price. Yes, the area is busy and the vulnerable population is prevalent in the area. However the building is under key card lock 24/7 and the staff is very friendly.

Loved this hotel. Very funky and located in or adjacent to the Gaslamp area of San Diego. Rooms were clean and serviced every second day. Room was spacious but my only negatives were that there is no safe or mini fridge in the room. Very close to Broadway and the 5th Avenue Trolley stop. Would I stay here again… definitely

The staff were very friendly,room was great very clean it was like a little studio condo had a stove fridge freezer, etc. The town is really quaint and a lot of good restaurants, my only complaint is there are so many homeless. The sidewalks smelled like urine in the mornings, and all the shop owners were squirting off the cement out front. During the evening, they were all getting their sleeping places and I saw some doing drugs. I heard sirens outside my window and police talking to all the homeless trying to get them off of the street. A lot of mentally ill homeless it was kind of scary at night, especially going solo. Somewhere in the middle of the street, screaming at everyone yelling obscenities. I definitely won’t go back, not because of the hotel but because of my safety concerns. They did have security out front 24 seven which was nice, but I didn’t feel comfortable going out at night.

Awesome experience! I’m BIG on customer service and they nailed it! Prior to arrival I received a text confirming details of my stay. They have a VIP chalk board for guests with your name that makes you feel special. Harmony checked me in and was fantastic. She was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I was able to check in early from a long flight and prepare for the conference I was attending at the convention center. A plethora of local restaurants to choose from. Homeless are around but unavoidable. Felt safe with key card access to the hotel. My room was clean and quiet, it had a kitchenette area that was a plus. Will definitely return next time I’m in San Diego.

This hotel was convenient for a conference I attended. I love how walkable it is to things, but it is quite loud in this area in the evenings. I travel with earplugs, so I was fine - but definitely something to know about in Advance!

I did not book a room at this property and was moved there at no fault of my own. It was a half mile further away from my convention adding time to my morning commute thru an unsafe and filthy streets covered with homeless.
