The hotel's location is ideal for those seeking vibrant nightlife and downtown activities, making it convenient for my partner and me to explore the local bar scene without extensive walking. The abundance of nearby dining options is an added benefit. The hotel itself boasts a stylish, modern, and clean aesthetic, complemented by an exceptional staff that warmly greeted us each time we entered or exited the premises. The lobby features a cozy bar, perfect for unwinding, and there is a pleasant area to soak up some sun at the front of the building. While the rooms are somewhat compact, the balcony provided a delightful escape that overshadowed any concerns about size. However, it can be quite noisy, particularly on weekends, so those seeking tranquility should request a room at the back; the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs as a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the television was a generous size, and the refrigerator was useful for our beverages. The bathroom also offered excellent lighting. This hotel may not be suitable for families or those desiring a peaceful retreat, as it caters more to couples and solo travelers looking for an energetic experience in the Gaslamp Quarter. Overall, it was a solid choice for an exciting city stay, and I would certainly choose to return.
