We stayed at one of the Samal houses and it was a great experience. Everything is clean, the view is great, very relaxing and the food is awesome and most of all their staffs are very attentive, polite and friendly. I will be back.

Keep in mind this is a party resort. The staff and food were excellent. Grounds (area) were very clean. My room was very clean. This is a beautifully furnished house right on the water. There are steps that lead into the water! A public beach is just 5 minutes up the road. Josephine, the property manager, was fantastic. She helped arrange dinner for us who were arriving much later than expected.
