"Great, quiet location despite being close to the old town and main train station. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our luggage and explore.
Breakfast is as described on this site - a few bread rolls and croissants with jam / a dip plus coffee or tea from the machine that is self service.
The only let down for us was that our bed was only set up with one pillow and a single size blanket instead of two (it seems common in Austria to have two single sized blankets for two people rather than a double / queen). As reception had already left for the day, we were unable to raise this until the morning so one of us slept without a pillow."
"Very nice and clean hotel with updated rooms. The check-in process was ridiculous. Younger staff were poorly trained - example: even after checking-in with their QR coded process, when I went to get my key the young person at the desk said they had no record of my reservation. I showed them my Expedia confirmation and she still denied I had a reservation. It took another person to get it fixed. Important: their QR code check-in asked for date of birth and place of birth. These should never be requested or given out by travelers as they are security questions with many financial accounts. Expedia should be aware of this."
"This was a wonderful, updated clean hotel in a great area. Rooms are large and quiet. Close to train station, restaurants, shopping, sights and Old Town so very walkable. The hotel has a great restaurant with outdoor seating, and I would advise making reservations right away when check-in. The breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again and the hotel was one of my favorites when travelling in Europe!"
"Stayed during a heat wave and they already had the room cool when we checked in. Staff very friendly and courteous. Apples at front desk a nice touch. Comfortable. Would be great to have another pillow."
