Hotel Kembara di Salzburg

"We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was plentiful and good. Spa, fitness room and pool/jacuzzi was very nice(would prefer longer hours in evening. Would recommend the front side of hotel if you go to bed on the early side as the back side was a little noisy because there is a restaurant or business."

"The location was great for us - close to the train station (walking distance) and the bus that takes you to the touristy Old Town. We had our 7yr kiddo with us so the 15-20 min walk to the Old Town every night was out of the question - easy to get an Uber or taxi as well. It is under construction right now so there is dust around, FYI. There is a mall right across the street which was very convenient. When we checked in, the gentleman who helped us was great - very polite and professional....

"First of all, the rooms are shockingly small....so much so that there was almost no space on one side of the bed. I tried to get down in the middle of a night and my ankle got bruised by the sharp edge of the bed. Second, the staff were simply rude and unhelpful initially. On one of the evenings, we decided to hang out with our friends in the lounge room and they didn't have all of the lights on. So, when we asked them to turn them on and they said we had to buy something from the bar before...

"Excellent hotel. Only disappointing thing was not being able to have a drink with a group of five people in the rooftop bar. They were plenty of tables for four and we were told we could only have a drink inside."
