"Staff was fantastic; truly a joy to have them around.
Property was good for the price, although slightly damaged due to a recent hurricane. (Hot water didn't work until the last day I was there, but it's fixed now.)
Area around the villa is pretty much "other villas" - you'll need either to rent a car, take a taxi, or walk down to the gas station to catch the bus if you want to get so the local tourist attractions.
The complimentary breakfast was also excellent - traditional Jamaican cuisine (boiled plantains, potatoes, saltfish, sausage, dumplings, etc.) cooked really well. Dinner was extra ($10/person), but also consistently good. While I ate as much jerk chicken as I could throughout the day, I didn't feel any real need to try OTHER places, as the villa food was more than sufficient.
This is very much a villa to stay at if you want go get away from crowds and stereotypical touristy locations."
