"The hotel and rooms are clean and up to date. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a nice touch and it was nice to have coffee ready to go right when you wake up. The neighborhood is getting better with the Yurba Buena partnership actively cleaning the streets and keeping the un-housed moving. At no times did I feel unsafe walking around the area. People who are not familiar with the plight of San Francisco may feel different but the area is exponentially better than even a year ago. Would stay again. "

"Came later than planned and the front desk staff checked me in to a corner room after noticing there were double bookings somehow! What a nice upgrade and appreciated her doing that. I had to call Expedia and have them verify to cancel the other reservation. I lost my key a few times or left in the room and the front office staff were friendly. The bathroom was large and the Toto toilets were great. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar, but easily walked safely as a single woman traveler all around the area with great location to union square and market street trolley stop! "
