"We were there on a busy weekend and unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening. The free breakfast was good, but the staff could not keep up on replacement of food items, napkins, plates, cups, etc. The workout room was large and had good equipment, but the equipment could use some cleaning. Be aware that the handicapped room has a smaller sized bed (double). The room was clean however it smelled like a combination of pot and dirty gym socks."

"There was a good assortment of breakfast items. The lobby is very spacious and comfortable and was a great place for our large group to congregate for breakfast and in the evenings after dinner. Very happy with our stay here. Would definitely stay here again."

"Convenient location"

"This place is a hidden gem. We only needed a room for one night, but I wanted to stay longer. The room was big and clean, with a kitchen bigger than I had in some apartments I’ve lived in. The exercise room was a little cramped, but we weren’t there for gym facilities. The host had plenty of recommendations for food and drink nearby, too. Thanks for the great accommodations!"

"Very nice place to stay "

"Breakfast was amazing! Very crowded with folks in for The Boston Marathon. In spite of crowds, food fresh and plentiful. We had an amazing large suite which was soooo nice after spending 6 hours driving from Philly, then watching the Red Sox play and then visiting the Cheers bar! Wonderful night, comfortable bed, professional and friendly front desk staff. We will definitely be back!"

"Great place to stay"

"My (very last minute) overnight stay was exceptional! The building itself is not impressive in the usual sense. It is obvious, though, that it once was quite an elegant hotel! My room was quite clean and bed was very comfortable! Every staff member was very nice and friendly! Definitely looks like it needs an infusion of cash, but the room rates are so affordable that they probably don't have a great revenue stream. Sad, actually! Would love to see this place dolled up like it...

"Food was good gym and pool was perfect and staff friendly and professional. Dawson was very kind and great."

"Room smelled like cigarette smoke. With the windows open, a fan running, you will be smelling cigarette smoke in your sleep. Staff was rarely around. All the guests that I encountered seemed to not be happy to be staying there. They were all complaining to me."

"Overall, very good room for the price we paid. I would have preferred extra blankets and pillows in the room, but enough were provided and I didn’t ask for more. We were also welcomed by two (harmless) spiders, who we helped find happier lands down the hall. The free breakfast was okay. Good for free, so can’t complain. The property is well kept overall, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay. "
