"It was a steep hill to climb with luggage. Taxi's were not available even though the website said you can take a taxi. The Hotel has many levels and no elevator. Given that we were fit we managed to drag our suitcases up the hill. Not very accessible for people with disabilities. We enjoyed our stay the room was minimally appointed. The aesthetics were simple & clean."

"Although basic and rustic, the room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen had everything you need: fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishes and cutlery, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and hot water. Communications with the property owner were quick, responsive, and helpful. This is also an excellent location on the island. Loved Naoshima, loved our two nights at Quaint House! Highly recommend."

"One of the best experiences I’ve had in Japan. Great staff, the location is amazing next to he port and the station. The rooms are packed with ammenities for use like skincare. They have an alliance with the local Onsen for free entrance. That was the cherry on top after a long day visting Naoshima. Definitely recommended"
