"Great place 90min from PPS airport through lovely terrain (drive like a tour!). Amazing long pool (80 strokes to pool bar but more pool on other side, where jacuzzis x3 are). Whitish sandy beach is stunning. Had a room facing pool so could walk a few steps and jump right in. Only downside is male sauna under repair so you had to prebook and use female one, gym v small and only restaurant very slow service….but friendly at least. Underground river is great (tour starts 100m to left of resort beach, plus you could book there much cheaper!). I did a snorkeling trip to Ulugsm bay, swam with one turtle and saw 3 giant clams otherwise not amazing so perhaps Honda is way to go?)."

"Rooms were nice, dinner buffets were fantastic. I quite enjoyed the cultural dancers and fire dancers. Breakfast was very good. Only issues we had was eating a la carte, seemed there was confusion on where to eat and when. Some of our group wanted a la carte but still sit with those that wanted the dinner buffet, it seemed very difficult to set this up and that they were pushing to just eat the dinner buffet. Tours are great, easy to setup."

"Honestly you get what you pay for and it was a cheap price. Aircon was nice and cold but there is no hot water at all. The young gentleman was really friendly but the older lady who I assume was the owner was quite rude and not in the least bit helpful. She told us to walk quietly in our room, which we were doing as you leave your shoes at the front door. When we inquired about food she told us only philipino food and to go elsewhere, but we always try to eat local food first."

"Our stay at Coconut Garden Resort was unforgettable! Nestled on the beautiful Cagnipa Island, it felt like our own private paradise. Although the forecast predicted rain, we were lucky to enjoy two full days of sunshine—perfect for exploring and relaxing. The house reef just off the beach was a highlight—amazing snorkeling right at our doorstep! The resort's menu and food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Every meal felt like a treat. The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile. And we absolutely loved the resort dogs, Momo and Toytoy—sweet, friendly companions who made the experience feel even more homey. The boat shuttle to and from Port Barton was scenic and smooth, adding to the adventure. For most of our stay, we had the whole island to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and special. A group of about 15 guests arrived after we left, so we really got to enjoy that serene, castaway vibe. If you're looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path island experience with great hospitality and natural beauty, Coconut Garden Resort is the perfect escape. We’re already dreaming of coming back!"

"Ocean paradise: I think that's the best way to describe this place. It is a marine protected island with a wonderful reef. You can snorkel and see amazing fishes, corals, starfish and turtles! In the price the food is included (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The crew is amazing and they are trying to do anything you ask for. They played beach volley with us and they also showed me a pull-up bar where I could continue my training. The place was destroyed in 2022 by a typhoon, and they are slowly trying to fix it. It can now host about 15-20 people at most, and you live in a hut type of house where there is a private bathroom. There are also hammocks and sunbed all over the place. If you are a solo person, going there is weird as there are only couples 99% of the times. I've stayed for 4 nights, but I can easily go back there and spend another 10. It's true that there is not much to do apart from, running, swimming, snorkelling, beach volley, basketball, pull up bar, etc. But this simply life fits me so, I can stay there for many days. The night sky is also incredible and you can see sunset, moonrises, starts, milky way, etc. The only downside I see is that they are keeping most "street" lights on during the night, so you cannot really enjoy the dark night sky, but it's a matter of going around the island and you have your peace. It's really paradise on earth!"
