The neighbourhood (Roma Norte) is very interesting with lots of restaurants, sidewalk food vendors (amazing vegan tacos at Paxil — they’re a must!).
There’s issues with gentrification in Roma Norte and you try to consider your impact there. Eat local and try and support the community if you can.

"This hotel is truly a gem. It’s the perfect location in Roma Norte with tons of food, shopping, and bars nearby. The hotel itself has a beautiful facade in a century old building, and the pasaje filled with shops and restaurants is very inviting and upbeat. The rooms are modern and clean and the beds are comfortable. The shutters also make the room fully blacked out, so it was easy to sleep in. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, and to our delight, we discovered they offer pastries daily...
