"We had an amazing stay at Barceló Puerto Vallarta. It was more of a quiet resort, lots of older folks and not many kids, although they did have some activities for kids. Lots of available loungers with poolside drink service. very relaxing. Food was amazing, not just bad Americanized food. Lots of drink options as well. Our room was a premium king suite that had great AC, lots of room, and was very comfortable. Only downside is the beach is small and the sand isn’t super soft so it hurt to walk along the beach in some spots. Upside is that there’s enough pool space and other loungers to make up for it. Would definitely stay again!"

"The property is a little dated but all areas are very clean. We had an Oceanview Jacuzzi Suite with a spectacular view of everything. Restaurants were good - didn’t have to make reservations way in advance and had a lot of options. The grill by the pool was perfect for midday snack."

"The staff is extremely hard working and mindful. They all make sure that guests are happy, well fed and entertained. The property is kept clean and well maintained. They only have two restaurants but both have plenty of choices for every meal."
