"Room was clean and ready for our arrival. It was honestly the perfect budget trip to Philadelphia experience. Lots of really great food and coffee options within 2 blocks of the hotel. Great attractions nearby let it be the bridge the piers or the historic district itself. Hotel restaurant came to the rescue when the wife didn’t wanna walk to a restaurant. Honestly the hotel was kinda regular. But in a good way, nothing over zealous. "

"On check in was informed we got an upgrade but that was not the case. We had breakfast included but at check in they failed to give us the vouchers we needed for the breakfast. And was only for $27 per person. No complimentary water in room. Saw a cockroach in the ladies toilets on the lower ground floor. The roof bar was not available when we arrived and was closed Sunday night. For anyone booking please be aware that the liberty bell will ring hourly from 5am and you will hear it! "

"Staff were very friendly and very helpful and the cleaning team were very sweet as well.
The highlight of this hotel is where is located in the downtown area of Philly and exactly 2 minutes walking distance from the reading market.
The hotel is huge and it has a huge capacity for a lot of guest, but the amenities are way too little. Also it’s a bummer that when you’re booking with Expedia or any other third-party, you take the room with the worst view. "

"Excellent value. Clean, quiet, attentive staff, good heat/a/c unit that functioned perfectly, wonderful bed/bedding, shower - very comfortable in all the ways that matter to me. Dated wallpaper, very marginal lighting in the room. Some trouble with the wifi, but not sure if that was a hotel problem or a me problem. "Excellent breakfast menu, and employees very friendly and helpful. Very popular place so book early seem to be a lot of children using the pool, but it didn’t bother me as I did not use the pool.
Pool is heated and would be a relaxing place turn off hours. In the same parking lot is an Anthony’s pizza which is very popular and an excellent choice to grab something quick and not have to drive."
