The facilities were great, 3 hot tubs, the sauna is amazing, the view is beautiful and to do the cold plunge into a lake is very special! We ended up staying here another night as got stuck during a snow storm and think we were all happy about this! Such a beautiful hotel to get stuck in. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The food is delicious - highly recommend to miso chicken & the fish. The kids dinner menu was great. The decor of this hotel is stunning! Highly recommend.

Best hotel my husband and I stayed at in Iceland. The hot tubs and sauna were a relaxing and wonderful treat. The hotel was in pristine condition. Do yourself a favor and eat at the hotel restaurant. The meal was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We enjoyed the midnight sun drinks, carrot ginger soup, carmelized goat cheese, and PLEASE have the blonde for dessert. This hotel was incredibly.

This was the hotel I was most excited about in Iceland and it did not disappoint. The location and property is beautiful. The hot tubs and sauna were such nice amenities. We had dinner at the restaurant on site which was beyond delicious. Our room was very comfortable with so many thoughtful little touches to make us feel right at home, especially enjoyed the towel warmer. I loved this place.
