"We were given an exceptional warm reception and introduction to the hotel, immediately being made to feel welcomed. Hotel is a lovely renovated old building, conveniently situated a short walk from Pont du Gard. Room was small but adequate, clean and well equipped. Staff at reception and when dining were the most friendly and attentive we met during our tour of the region. Would have no hesitation if recommending this hotel."

"This is a high-end destination place with a wonderful pool. However, if you have a pool, people will use it; if they use it, you need to have staff who can make sure it's clean and that there are enough towels. If you offer water, make sure the jug is full. As for the room, look at the photo in the website: even a standard room has a curtain over the bed to soften the harshness of the whiteness of the room... it's not too much to ask to have the actual room match the one in the photo... Add to that a bustling residential neighborhood just outside the tourist center, in the oldest building in Avignon and extremely welcoming hosts! Highly recommended"

"The hotel lacked enough air conditioning to compete with the heat, and our room never got below 26 Celcius (about 80 Fahrenheit). We had to sleep with multiple fans blowing on us. The town of Avignon was sketchier than I realized and hotel staff were very cautious with the door at night time"
